Jan has been working at the interface of business and society for 18 years. He has deep experience of delivering innovative community engagement projects and programmes for businesses and of helping corporate leaders develop their skills through challenging social impact activities.
He bases his work on his ‘Connected Leaders’ model which emphasises ‘Society’ as a critical focus area for leaders alongside the classic themes of ‘Self’, ‘Others’ and ‘Business’. Jan believes that for leaders and their organisations to stay truly relevant in the 21st Century they must embrace and act upon society’s critical social and environmental issues.
Whether focused on CSR, responsible business or purpose, Jan’s interventions are designed to stimulate business leaders to develop their skills in unfamiliar environments and to deeply consider their role, and that of their businesses, in the wider world. He has worked in-depth with a range of corporate clients including British Gas, Lloyds Banking Group, Sky, M&G Prudential and HSBC.
